The Studio
Open Space Studios was designed specifically as a rental studio for local photographers and podcasters. OS Studios is a 1500 square foot facility, featuring high ceilings, abundant natural light, continuous ( not flash ) LED lighting equipment, ( provided at no additional charge ) and a state of the art Podcast studio.
Separate from our shooting space, is our podcasting room. Designed by recording engineers, it is the only sound conscious studio in the area.

The Podcast Studio is outfitted with 4 Shure SM7B mics, the quintessential dialog mic. The SM7B is a smooth and warm sounding microphone that is ideal for close-talk applications such as podcasting, voiceovers, and has also been widely used for music recordings.

Candra George and Nichole Xanthos are friends, business partners. and the owners of Open Space Studios. Together they have over 40 years of experience in the creative/photography/film industry. OSS began out of their love of all things creative and the need for a space to help all creative businesses on the Gulf Coast grow.
ABOUT us
About Nichole: After 22 years in the retail and styling industry, she and her husband, Stelios, a cinematographer, opened their production company. When they aren't traveling for films, or in the studio working on creative projects, you’ll find them spending time with their three daughters.
About Candra: A photographer since 2008, she has photographed everything from chickens to the POTUS. She loves nothing more than helping her team build their businesses, telling people’s love stories, and traveling. When she isn’t in the studio, you can find her hanging out with her husband, son, and 2 dogs.
